This policy explains what Ascent (Alpen Ventures) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account details (name, email), the content you create in the product, and technical data such as log and device information. If you connect an integration (e.g. a bank via our provider), we store the tokens needed to sync, encrypted at rest.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the service (hosting, payments, email, error monitoring, bank-data sync), each bound to protect it, and where required by law.

Retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You can access, export, correct, or request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Security

We use tenant isolation, encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and encrypted integration tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
